Welcome to Blogmas Day Eleven! Today I’m going to be showing you 3 festive looks that I’ve done during December. I already have my Christmas Day Makeup figured out, but if you don’t, hopefully this post will give you a little inspiration.
For the rest of my face I first bronzed and to do that I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. I then went into the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee for my blush and highlighter. This blush is a nice light/medium pink and it’s nicely buildable. And the highlighter is a nice gold with a little bit of rosiness.
For the second look I wanted to do something fun and a little bit over the top, so I went with green. For my face I used the same products as the first look with the exception of the powder. For this look I used the Ofra Cosmetics Banana Powder.
For the rest of my face I started with bronzer and for that I used the Benefit Hoola bronzer. For my blush and highlighter I used the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo palette in Lychee.
For my eyes the first thing I did was prime and for that I used the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Cookie palette and I put the nude shadow all over my lids. Then I put a light brown shadow in the crease, just to have a background shade and a little bit of depth. Then I applied the shimmery emerald green all over my lid. It’s such a pretty color and translates really well from pan to eye. To mix it up a little I went into the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party palette and from that took Nooks & Cranberries, a matte red shade, and put that under the entirety of my eye and then put the white shimmery shade form the e.l.f. palette in the inner corner of my eye. To line my eyes I used the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black and topped off the eyes with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I applied the MAC Matte Lipstick in 612, Russian Red. And I set the entire look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
And for the third look I wanted to do something that mixed a couple of colors so I went with a red and gold look. For my face, I used the same products that I used in the first look.
For the rest of my face I applied the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer, Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and e.l.f. highlighter in Lychee.
For my eyes I first primed using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer. Then I went into the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party palette and took the nude shade, Cream Filling, and put it all over my eye. I then went into Nooks & Cranberries and put it in the crease lightly, then I packed it on the outer corner and the inner corner of my eye. In the middle I left a space and put Icing On Top, it’s a very pretty gold. To line my eyes I used the Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer and I topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. I applied the YSL Tatouage Couture in 5 Rosewood Gang on my lips and set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys have done any festive looks this season I’d love to know what they are.
Until next time, have fun creating festive looks and I hope you’re enjoying Blogmas :).
Today I’m going to be doing one of my favorite type of posts, a three recent looks. And today we’re focusing on looks I did with the Alamar Cosmetics Spanglish Palette. This palette is really bright and fun, so I’ve a lot of fun creating with it.
For my eyes, the first thing I did prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow primer. Then I went in with Ay Que Cute, a matte light pink that has slight rosy undertones and I put that in the crease. Then I applied Ponte Hyper, a matte hot pink/fuchsia to the outer corner and I brought it up a little bit into the crease. For the rest of my eye I applied Guao, a darker purple metallic. I brought a little bit of Ponte Hyper under my eye and put just a dab of Guao in the inner corner of my eye. I lined my eyes using the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper, then applied the Benefit They’re Real mascara. After I saw the eye look I decided to go full on 80’s Barbie, so for my lips I first lined them with the Sephora Collection Lip Liner To Go in 09 Fuchsia and on top of that used the Colourpop Lippie Stix in Glam Bag. I set the entire look with the Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Spray.
For the second look I wanted to use the more neutral shades in the palette and I ended up with the perfect fall look. The first thing I did was prime my face using the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory. Used my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper.
When it came to my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later primer. The first shadow I applied was Jajaja, a matte light-medium brown and I used just the tiniest bit in the crease. Then I applied Muy Excited, a matte burnt orange that has some brown undertones. I put that on the outer corner of my eye and brought it up a little bit into the crease. For the rest of my eye I used Pero Like, a peachy/orange metallic with some gold glitter. I brought a little bit of Muy Excited under my eye and put Pero Like in the inner corner of the my eye. I then lined my eyes using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner and applied the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume mascara. Because this was a fall look I wanted to go with a brown lip, so I first lined my lips with the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02, Nothin’ But Nude and on top of that put the Too Faced Peach Kiss Comfort Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The third look I did is basically a “more wearable” version of the first look I did. So the first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper.
For the rest of my face I first applied the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. Then I applied the Model Co Peach Bellini blush and Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later primer. Then I went into Ay Que Cute and put that in the crease. On top of that I put a tiny amount of Ponte Hyper, just to deepen it up a little. For the rest of my eye I applied Eres Un Show, a lavender metallic. I brought a little bit of Ay Que Cute and Ponte Hyper under my eye and put Eres Un Show in the inner corner of my eye. I lined my eyes using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner and applied the Too Faced Damn Girl mascara. For my lips I first lined them with the Sephora Collection Lip Liner To Go in 09 Fuchsia and on top of that used the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Let’s Go Crazy. And I set the whole look with the Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I have another one of these posts planned for November, so be on the lookout for that. If any of you have this palette let me know what you think of it and what your favorite look is that you’ve done with it.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).
Happy Friday! Today I’m going to be doing one of my favorite types of posts, a Recent Looks. This time it’s all about looks I did with the Pur Cosmetics Festival 2.0 Palette. I really like this palette a lot, I think it’s very versatile and I like every look I’ve created with it.
For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was bronze using my Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. I then used the Too Faced Daydreamer blush and highlighted using the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
For my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow primer. Then I went in with Dreamland which is a matte peachy/salmon shade and I put that in the crease. Next I applied Turn It Up, a really vibrant hot pink satin shade and I put that on the outer corner on my eye and blended into the crease a little. For the rest of my eye I applied Euphoric, a cream toned glitter. I put a little bit of Turn It Up and Dreamland under my eye and Euphoric in the inner corner of my eye. I lined my eyes using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner, then applied the Too Faced Damn Girl mascara. Because I did a bold eye I wanted to do a neutral lip, so I lined my lips using the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner and on top of that used the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca. I set the entire look using the Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Spray.
For the rest of my face I first used my Benefit Hoola bronzer. Then I applied the Alamar Cosmetics Isla blush and highlighted with the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
When it came to my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Eyeshadow primer. The first shadow I used was Photo Op, a matte light orangey brown and I put that in the crease. Then I used On Set, a matte chocolatey brown and I put that on the outer corner of my eye, a little bit in the crease and blended. For the rest of my eye I applied Pure Bliss, which is a medium toned gold glitter. I put a bit of On Set under my eye and Pure Bliss in the inner corner. I used the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooperto line my eyes and applied the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. For my lips I took the Beauty Vaulte Lip Liner in Natty Nat and put that all over my lips, this is a fantastic red. And I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The third look I did the other day and I just wanted to have fun with the bold glittery shades. The first thing I did was prime using the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the KVD Lock-It Translucent Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face I started first with the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. Then I applied the Model Co Blush in Peach Bellini and highlighted with the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
When it came to my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow primer. Then I went in with Insta-Worthy, a matte pinky/brown and I put that in the crease. I then took Electric, a deep blue glitter, and put that on two thirds of my eye. For the rest of my eye I applied Utopia, a light blue glitter with flecks of white and yellow glitter and I blended those together a bit. I then took Insta-Worthy and put that under my eye. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and applied the Benefit They’re Real mascara. For my lips I used the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner and the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Crush. I set the whole look with the Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I do really like this type of post, so look out for more in the future. If you guys have this palette I’d love to know what your favorite look is that you’ve done using it.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).
Happy Friday! Today I thought it would be fun to share with you a couple of looks I’ve did recently with the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette. I’m gonna be honest, I did do an additional look and completely forgot to take a picture of it, but the next time I use this palette I’ll recreate the look and put it on Instagram. That being said, let’s get into it.
When it came to my eyes I wanted to do something I hadn’t done before and I’m super happy with the way this came out. The first thing I did was prime my eyes with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went in to the Cocoa Blend palette and the first shadow I used is Substitute For Love. This is a lighter brown and I lightly applied that in the crease. Then I went in with Freshly Toasted, a rusty matte brown and lightly applied that in the crease as well. Then to build some depth I did a light layer of Beans Are White, a matte black that isn’t too deep and when you do a little amount like I did the gray in it comes through. On the outer corner of my eye and about halfway on the lid I applied Warm Notes which is berry-ish sparkly pink, a really pretty shadow. Then on the other half of my lid I applied Bitter Start which is a light matte nude. I lined my eyes using the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped off the eyes using the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. I wanted a nude lip, so I went in first with the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner then used the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca and I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I will say that I messed up my swatches because I was trying to do them lightly and they ended up looking weird.
For the rest of my face I first went in with the Benefit Hoola bronzer, then I applied the Too Faced Daydreamer blush and topped it off with the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
For my eyes I first primed them with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. The first shadow I used from the Cocoa Blend palette was Substitute For Love and I put that in the crease. Then on the outer corner and in the crease a bit I pack on Freshly Toasted. On the rest of my lid I applied Pure Ganache, this is such a gorgeous shadow. It’s a sparkly copper and it’s super pigmented. It might be my favorite shadow in the palette. I lined my eyes with the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner and topped off the eyes with the Benefit BADgal Bang! mascara. I wanted a neutral/brown lip so I first lined my lips with the Beauty Vaulte Lip Liner in Kozy Kira then applied the Too Faced Peach Kiss Comfort Matte Long Wear Lipstick in the shade Sex On The Peach. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. I did almost forget to take a picture of this look so I grabbed the one that was on my Insta Story so ignore the random caption.
That about wraps it up for this post, if any of you guys have the Cocoa Blend palette I’d love to know what your favorite look is that you’ve created with it.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).
Happy Friday! Today I thought it would be fun to share with you the makeup look I did for the 4th of July and how I did it. I had quite a few ideas leading up to the 4th about what I wanted to do and ultimately I’m really happy with the one I chose.
When it came to my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer. For this look I wanted to use a palette I hadn’t fully explored, so I went with the Too Faced Pretty Rich Diamond Light Palette. The first shadow I used, as a base, was It’s Designer, a matte nude shadow. Then I went in with Coal Under Pressure, this is somewhere between a medium and deep black and it has flecks of silver glitter in it. I put this in the crease, on the outer corner of the eye and brought it in about halfway on the eye. For the rest of the lid I applied Set The Jewel Tone, which is a really pretty shimmery sapphire blue. Then, for a little extra fun and sparkle, I dabbed Diamond Life on my entire lid. When I originally saw this glitter I thought it would be a great topper and it is. It has a mix of white, blue, black and a darker silver glitter in it. And for a little brightness I put Clutch Your Pearls in the inner corner of my eye and under my brows. To line my eyes I applied the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooperand I topped off the eyes with the Too Faced Damn Girl mascara, it really does give you lashes for days. I knew I wanted to do a red lip so I looked through all of mine and decided on the Beauty Vaulte liner in Natty Nat and on top of that, the Sephora Collection LipStories Matte Lipstick in 23, After Hours. This is a great deep red that I wear a lot during the holidays and college football season. And to set the look I used the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I always like doing posts like this, so look out for more in the future.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many makeup products :).
Today I thought it would be fun to show you guys three of the looks I did recently using the Huda Beauty Ruby Obsessions palette. This is unlike any other palette I have and I don’t wear colors like this very often, so I’ve been having fun with it. That being said, let’s get into it.
The first look we have is the first look I did using the palette. The first thing I did was prime my face and to do that I used the GlamGlow Glow Starter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This gives a great glow under foundation and smells really good. Then I went in with my foundation, I’m still using the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory, but I’ve switched to the liquid version and I like that much better. I also switched bought some new sponges and switched out the Beauty Blender ones that I was using for the Real Techniques and I like the Real Techniques so much better for blending. I then applied my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory, under my eyes and a few other places and topped it off with the KVD Lock-It Translucent Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face I first went in with bronzer and used Too Faced Extra Toasty. This bronzer is nicely pigmented and blends well. Then I applied the Alamar Cosmetics Isla blush from the Colorete Blush Trio in Medium-Tan. Isla is a pretty coral shade, the formulation is really nice, it’s quite pigmented without being too much and it’s very buildable. And I topped it off with the Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Rose Gold. This is one of my favorite highlighters, it’s the perfect light pink and gives a great shine.
For my eyes I didn’t have a set plan of what I wanted to do, but the first thing I did was prime with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eye Shadow Primer. This has become a primer that I reach for a lot. It’s on the thicker side, but really does make the shadow last all day and it brings out the colors of the shadows you’re wearing. The first shadow I went in with is the light matte pink in the top left corner and I used that as a base all over my lid. Then I used the the last shadow in the palette, the matte raspberry, and I packed that into the crease and blended. To deepen it up I went in with the first shadow in the second row, that matte maroon, and I put that a little bit in the crease but mostly I packed it on the outer corner of my eye and blended. On the rest of my lid I wanted some sparkle, so I used the rose gold glitter in the top right corner. I took that same matte maroon under my eyes on the outer corner, joining it with the outer corner on the top. I brought that in to the middle and then used that same rose gold on the inner corner under my eye and brought that to the middle to meet the maroon. I then lined with the KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I finished off the eyes with the Too Faced Damn Girl mascara, this is a mascara I started using recently and like the Better Than Sex, I really like it. If you want long lasting volume and length, I recommend it. On my lips I first applied the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner, this is a nude liner that I use a lot and really like. On top of that I used the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Crush. And I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The second look came from me wanting to just play with makeup and use glitter on a random Saturday. And I did in fact go run errands in the look and only received one or two odd looks for being at the grocery store with a eyelid full of glitter. The base of my face for this look is the same as the first look.
For the rest of my face, I first went in with bronzer and used the Benefit Hoola bronzer. This is one of my longtime favorites and definitely one of my go to’s. Then I applied the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee & Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold blush. This again is a blush I’ve been using for a while and have repurchased a few times. It’s a nice pink and the glow that you get from it isn’t too over the top. When it came to highlighter, I picked a relatively new one for me, the Wet N Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in 335A: Bloom Time. This is a pretty pink that I would say is between a light and medium pink shade wise and has a nice shine too it when the light catches it.
For my eyes, after priming with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged, I went in with that same light matte pink and used that all over the eye as a base. At the point I had decided that I wanted to do a halo eye look, for the first time, so I just went for it with my shadow choices, full send. I picked that matte raspberry and packed it in the inner corner of the eye and in a bit, then I did the same on the outer corner, bringing it in a bit. Once I was satisfied with that I decided to go full glitter and grabbed the small palette from the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House party and went with the gold glitter, Miss Kringle. I then used the matte raspberry under my eyes to bring the look together. I lined my eyes with the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner and applied the Sephora Collection Lashcraft Big Volume mascara. I used the same combo on my lips as the first look and set the whole thing with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The third look is from the other day and for this look I want to play with the more red shade in the palette and was inspired by the sunset. The base for this look is the same as the other two, which was not intentional because I do have other primers and setting powders I use, but it just worked out that on these days this is what I used.
For the rest of my face I first used the Benefit Hoola bronzer, then went in with the Alamar Cosmetics Isla blush and when it came to highlighter I wanted to use a product I just got, so I used the Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Coco Bling. This is a subtle silver shimmer and is great on the face and the body. I really like it.
For my eyes after priming with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged, I used the light matte pink as a base all over the eyes. Then because I wanted the sunset look I first went in the crease with the light matte peach shade. Then, to use the shade I haven’t yet, I went in with that orangey/red on the bottom left and packed that in the outer corner and a little in the crease. On the rest of the lid I took Don’t Carat All from the Too Faced Pretty Rich palette and topped that with a little bit of Fluent In Diamonds, a gold glitter. I lined with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and applied the Benefit They’re Real mascara. I lined my lips with the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner, then used the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca, this is a light pink/salmon shade and I’m wearing it today. I like it a lot. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys have the Ruby Obsessions palette I’d love to know what your favorite look is that you’ve done with it. Also, I really enjoy doing posts like this, so look out for more in the future.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).
Today I thought it would be fun to share with you the makeup look that I did for Easter and how I did it. For this look I wanted something fun with pastels and I’m really happy with the way it came out.
So the first thing I did for this look was prime my face using the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This gives a great subtle glow under foundation. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory. Next I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes and a few other places I wanted more coverage. And I topped that off with the KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It translucent setting powder.
For the rest of my face I started with bronzer and used the Too Faced Extra Toasty, this is a lighter brown and it has a nice amount of pigment and it blends really nicely. I then used the Model Co blush in Peach Bellini, this has a little bit of shimmer and shine and isn’t too pink and I highlighted with the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold. This is such a beautiful highlighter, it’s the perfect shade and it has a great pop when the light hits it without it being over the top. This is probably my favorite drugstore highlighter.
For my eyes I didn’t have a real plan going into it but a few shadows stood out and I went for it. The first thing I did though was prime them with the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette and put Fresh all over my lid as a base. Next I used Bloom, which is a matte pinky coral, from the Sultry palette and packed that into the crease and blended. From there I went into the big palette from the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party and packed That’s My Jam, a berry toned purple, on the outer corner of my eye and a little bit into the crease to meet Bloom. On my lid I used I Love Yule, a really pretty pink with gold sparkles and I lightly dabbed Tinsel Town, an icy and sparkly purple/white, on top to bring all the colors together. Eyeliner wise I used and KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped off the eyes with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. On my lips I applied a Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in Queen B, a very pretty mauvey purple and set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I always love doing posts like this so look out for more in the future and I’d love to know what your Easter makeup look was.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many sparkly eyeshadows :).
Today I thought it would be fun to talk about four makeup looks that I did this month that I had a lot of fun with. I was noticing that I have quite a few different green eyeshadows throughout different palettes, so during the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day I did different looks using them and I’m really pleased with how they all turned out.
The first look we have is very simple. The first thing I did was prime my face using the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer, I’ve been using this primer for a while and I really like it. First Aid Beauty has a great range of products and all the ones I’ve tried have been great. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. Then I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes and anywhere else I wanted more coverage. I topped that off with the KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Translucent setting powder.
For the rest of my face I used one of my favorite bronzers, the Nars bronzing powder in Laguna. This is a nice lighter brown that’s really blendable and has a nice shimmer to it. Then I went in with a Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and highlighted using the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold. This is one of my all time favorite highlighters, it’s a beautiful rose gold that really pops when the light hits it without being too over the top.
For my eyes I started off by covering them with a little concealer and then I went in with my eyeliner. I used the Lord & Berry Velluto eye pencil in 1808, Supreme Green. This is a deep green that is really pigmented and goes on nice and smooth. I topped that with the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, applied Colourpop Lippie Stix in Slacker, this is a gorgeous peachy/nude in a creme finish and set the look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The next look is one that I found while scrolling through Pinterest and thought it would be really fun to try and recreate and I’m super happy with how it turned out.
For this look I started with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This is something you can wear on it’s own, under foundation or you can use as a highlighter but I like it the best under foundation and it gives a nice subtle glow. I followed that with my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and I set it with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder. You get a nice smooth finish with this powder and it smells like peaches.
For the rest of my face I applied the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, this too is a nice lighter brown that blends really nicely. Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
The eye look is where it gets fun. To start I applied the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer, then I went into the big palette from the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Collection and the first shadow I applied is Cream Filling, I used this as a base all over the eye. Then I went in to Oh Snap! And did that in the crease and a little bit on the outer corner of the eye. I wanted something with some sparkle that wasn’t too crazy so I went in to Icing On Top for my eyelid. It’s a gorgeous light rose gold. Then to bring in the green I went to the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar palette and put the deep sparkly green under my eye and for a little bit of pop I put a tiny bit of sparkly silver in the inner corner. Eyeliner wise I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion and I topped off the eyes with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. For my lips I used the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner, which is a great nude liner, and the Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. And set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
The second to last look I did is one that I do more often than any of the others and I think it’s a fun look.
To start I primed my face with the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Hydrating Primer. Then I used my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face I went in first with the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, then with the Too Faced Daydreamer blush. This blush is a light/medium pink, it’s really pretty on and very buildable. Then I used the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
For my eyes I applied the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer then used the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Palette and the first shadow I used is a really light peachy/nude and I used that as a base all over the eye. Then I went in to a deep matte green and put that lightly in the crease and more heavily on the outer corner of the eye. And I used the sparkly silver on the lid. I applied the KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped off the eyes with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara, this does fantastic things for your lashes. I used the Nars Satin Lipstick in Tolede on my lips and set the look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
And the last look I did was for St. Patrick’s Day. I had a lot of fun with this one and it looked even brighter in person than in the photo.
I started this one with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow then used my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Translucent Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.
For my eyes after applying the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer I used that really light peachy/nude shadow from the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Palette as a base, then I went into the e.l.f. Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette in Hot Jalapeno and I used every shade. I first used that light matte green and put that in the crease. Then I used the dark matte green and put that a little bit in the crease but mostly on the outer corner of the eye. I put the bright sparkly gold on the lid and dabbed the light sparkly green on top of that. It made a really fun color mix. I used the KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and finished the eyes with the Benefit BAD gal BANG! mascara. For my lips I applied the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02 Nothin’ But Nude and the KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ludwig. And set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I always really like doing these posts so look out for more in the future.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many green eyeshadows :).
Today I’m going to be showing and walking through three of my recent makeup looks. I always enjoy doing this type of post, and with that being said, let’s get into it.
The first look we have is from right after Christmas when I was wanting to try out my new makeup, so I had a little look through the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party collection. I did do a post on that recently, so I will link that down below. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer, I’ve been using this primer for a while and I really like it. It gives me a great base to work with. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. After that I used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and I put that under my eyes to highlight and a few other places. And I topped that off with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper. This has quickly become one of my go to setting powders, it gives you a great smooth finish and it smells like peaches which is a nice addition.
For the rest of my face I used the blush, bronzer, highlighter palette from the Christmas Cookie House Party collection. The bronzer, Extra Toasty is a really nice lighter brown and it blends really nicely. The blush, Daydreamer is a lighter to medium pink and it’s very buildable and the highlighter, Get Frosted, is gold with pink undertones and it’s so pretty.
For my eye look I wanted to do something simple but fun. So the first thing I did was use the Too Faced 24+ Hour Anti Crease Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer. This primer is great, it locks in my eye shadow and it works really well with glitter and shimmer shadows. Then I went in with What A Batch, I used that as my base shadow and because it’s a lighter brown that gives off a nice color, I used a little extra in the crease. Then I used Secret Santa, a deep chocolate brown on the outer corner and brought it in a bit and blended. I then took Easy Bake Lovin’ which is a really pretty, and pigmented, deep sparkly copper and put that over the rest of my eyelid and blended. I used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Smashbox Super Fan Fanned Out mascara. To bring the look together I used the Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. There are a ton of different shades of these lipsticks but they’re all really pigmented, long wearing and smell like peaches.
My second look was from that time between Christmas and New Years when no one really knows what to do with themselves and for the first time in a while, I was bored. So I thought that having fun with makeup would be a great way to use my time. I was right.
For this look, I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow, then same base as the previous look. Covergirl + Olay Simple Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory. Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush, which is one of my favorites. And the Too Faced Get Frosted highlighter. The rose gold sparkle in the blush goes so well with the tone and sparkle of Get Frosted.
For my eyes I went to the smaller palette in the Christmas Cookie House Party collection and after using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I first went in with On A Roll which is a light beigey nude and I used that as a base and I put a little extra in the crease. Then I used Can’t Catch Me, which is a dark brown, in the outer corner and I brought that in a little bit. I then picked the glitter shadow that on first glance stood out the most and that is Snow Pink and it’s rose gold. Since this look I’ve worn another glitter shadow and they’re all so good. I went with my go to Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper for liner and finished the look with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara, my favorite of the Lancome mascaras. I wanted a more neutral lip so I used the Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. And spritzed my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
And the third look we have is from NYE. For this look I wanted to do something fun and play with color.
My base for this look is the same as the previous, GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow primer, Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face, I used one of my favorite bronzers, Benefit Hoola, then I used the Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and the Too Faced Get Frosted highlighter.
For my eyes, the first thing I did was apply the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow primer, then I went in with Cream Filling, which is a nude and I used that as a base. Then I used That’s My Jam, a really fun and pretty berry toned purple and I used that on the outer corner of my eye and brought it in about halfway and blended. I wanted something that would add sparkle and go with the purple, so I used Tinsel Town, which is a sparkly purple/white. I then used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and brought it together with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. I wanted a little bit of sparkle on my lips as well so I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Liquid Lipstick in Crush and topped it with 69, Winter Blizzard from the Sephora Collection Frosted Kisses #LipStories set. It’s a metallic white base with pink shimmer and it’s so gorgeous. Then I spritzed my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, like I said, I quite like doing this type of post so look out for more in the future.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and makeup is always fun :).
Welcome to Blogmas Day Six! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through and that there’s only two weeks until Christmas. Today I’m going to be showing you guys what my Christmas day makeup is going to be. I like to decide what I’m going to do beforehand, so on the day I can just pop it on and have a chill day. For a while I’ve been doing gold eyes, but this year I wanted something different and this is what I came up with.
So, the first thing I did was moisturizer my face with the Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I really like this, it makes my face really soft and it gives me a nice glow that peeks through my foundation. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. After that I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes to brighten and in a few other places. And I topped that off with the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.
For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was go in with my bronzer and for that I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Then I applied one of my favorite blushes, the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush. And I topped it off with the Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Highlighter in Sin.
For my eyes, the first thing I did was use the Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, this is probably my favorite eyeshadow primer. Then I went in to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette and used Twig in the crease. It’s a really nice brown and I use it as a crease color for quite a few looks. Then I used the dark matte brown from the e.l.f. Eye Candy Eyeshadow Duo Set on the outer corner of my eye and I brought that in just a little. And on the rest of the lid I used the bright white shadow from that same e.l.f. duo. I then used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and finished the look with the Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara, it gives you lashes for days.
To top off the whole look I applied the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Maple. This is a deep brick red and I love it. It’s a great red lipstick. And I locked it all in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
That about wraps it up for this post, I always like to do posts like this so look out for more in the future. I’d also love to know what you guys do on Christmas. Do you go a little glam with your look, keep it simple or rock no makeup?
Until next time, have fun creating your looks and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas :).
