Easter Cocktails

Hi everyone,

As Easter is this weekend, I thought today would be the perfect day to share some fun and quite good cocktails with you. Whether you’re having a party or just want to have a festive drink, these are perfect.

The first drink we have is the Naughty Peep. I don’t actually like Peeps, but this was too perfect to pass up and this recipe makes one.

What You Need:

  • 1 ounce of marshmallow Vodka
  • 1 ounce of Blue Curacao
  • 1/2 of a lemon
  • Sanding sugar, white or blue, it’s up to you
  • 4 ounces of Sprite
  • Simple syrup
  • 1 blue Peep for garnish, the bunnies tend to work the best

What You Do:

  • Add the Vodka, Blue Curacao, lemon juice and Sprite to a cocktail shaker and shake well to combine.
  • Take your glass and dip it in the simple syrup, then place it in the sanding sugar making sure that it’s well coated.
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice and pour in your cocktail.
  • Garnish with you Peep.
  • Serve and enjoy!

The second drink we have is the Easter Margarita. I like this because it has an Easter feel without being overly sweet. And this recipe makes one.

What You Need:

  • 1 1/2 ounces of cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 ounce of orange juice
  • 1 ounce of Silver Tequila
  • 1/2 ounce of sweet and sour mix

What You Do:

  • Take your cocktail shaker and add ice. Then add the cranberry juice cocktail, orange juice, Silver Tequila and sweet and sour mix.
  • Shake well and pour into your glass.
  • Serve and enjoy!

The second to last drink we have is Peach Sangria. Sangria is great for any occasion and with the addition of the peaches, this one is perfect for spring.

  • 10 ounces of peach flavored Vodka
  • 5 ounces of Hennessy
  • 5 ounces of fresh lime juice
  • 5 ounces of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce of simple syrup
  • 40 dashes of Bitters
  • 20 ounces of club soda

What You Need (To make a one drink):

  • 1 ounce of peach flavored Vodka
  • 1/2 ounce of Hennessy
  • 1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce of fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 of simple syrup
  • 4 dashes of Bitters
  • 2 ounces of club soda

What You Do (Pitcher):

  • Take your 64 ounce pitcher and add ice. Then add multiple slices of peach, lime and lemon.
  • Pour in the ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Serve and enjoy!

What You Do (Single glass):

  • Take your glass and add ice. Then add a few slices of peach, lime and lemon.
  • Pour in your ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Serve and enjoy!

And the last drink we have is the Blushing Whiskey Sour. This ends up being a really pretty color and is perfect for any party this spring. And this recipe makes one.

What You Need:

  • 3 blackberries
  • 2 ounces of lemon simple syrup
  • 1 ounce of Bushmills Irish Whiskey
  • Crushed ice

What You Do:

  • Add the blackberries, lemon simple syrup, Bushmills and crushed ice to your cocktail shaker.
  • Shake until the blackberries start to break up, that’s what gives it the color.
  • Pour into a glass filled with crushed ice and garnish with additional blackberries.
  • Serve and enjoy!

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys make any of these cocktails I’d love to know how they turn out. And if you guys have any Easter cocktail recipes let me know.

Until next time, have fun making drinks and I hope you all have a happy Easter :).
