St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails

Hi everyone,

Today I thought it would be fun to share some simple and delicious St. Patrick’s Day cocktails with you. Whether you’re having a party or you’re not a big beer drinker and want some other options, these cocktails are perfect.

First up we have the Irish Hammer Shot. I don’t always do shots, but these are really fun and at least in my opinion, not overpowering.

What You Need:

  • 1 part Jack Daniels
  • 1 part Irish Mist
  • 1 part Irish Cream
  • Ice

What You Do:

  • Take your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice then pour in the Jack Daniels, Irish Mist and Irish Cream.
  • Shake until it’s chilled and pour into your shot glass.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Next up we have the Sparkling Leprechaun Kiss. This cocktail is different in the fact that it’s a little sour, but in a good way. And this recipe makes one.

What You Need:

  • 1 ounce of Sour Apple Pucker
  • 1/2 ounce of Vodka
  • 1 ounce of lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce of simple syrup
  • 1 drop of green food coloring
  • Lemon Lime soda, any you like, I prefer Sprite
  • Ice
  • Green sugar to rim the glass

What You Do:

  • The first thing you’re going to do is rim the glass and to do that get the edge of the glass wet and roll it in the sugar until it’s coated well.
  • Then fill the glass halfway with ice.
  • Take a cocktail shaker and add the Sour Apple Pucker, Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and food coloring. Shake until it’s well combined.
  • Pour that into the glass and top it off with the soda.
  • Serve and enjoy!

The second to last cocktail we have is the Irish Maid. This drink is whiskey based making it perfect for the holiday, but this would also be a great summer drink. And this recipe makes one.

What You Need:

  • 2 ounces of Jameson Whiskey
  • 3 slices of cucumber
  • 1/2 ounce of Elderberry Liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce of fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 ounce of simple syrup with a drop of honey
  • Ice cubes

What You Do:

  • Take two slices of cucumber and put them into the shaker, and using a muddler, mash the cucumbers.
  • Then add the whiskey, Elderberry liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup and ice.
  • Shake for about 30 seconds and strain into an ice filled glass.
  • Garnish with the leftover cucumber slice.
  • Serve and enjoy!

And the lastly we have the Sparkling Shamrock Champagne Cocktail. This recipe makes 6 drinks.

What You Need:

  • 1 bottle of your favorite dry champagne or sparkling wine
  • 12 ounces of Midouri melon liqueur
  • Honeydew melon pieces
  • Green sanding sugar

What You Do:

  • Take your champagne flutes and rub the rim with a piece of honeydew and dip them in the sanding sugar, making sure they’re well coated.
  • Then pour 2 ounces of the Midouri into each glass. Fill the glasses the rest of the way with the champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Garnish each glass with a melon ball.
  • Serve and enjoy!

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys make any of these drinks tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram, I’d love to know how they turn out. And if you have any drink suggestions of your own let me know.

Until next time, have fun making drinks and I hope you have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day :).
