Today I thought it would be fun to go through the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. I’ve used this a few times since getting it, one of those pictures will be included, and I love it. It’s a gorgeous palette and I 100% recommend it if you don’t already have it. I quite like the packaging, the sparkly brown is a great representation of what you’re going to see when you open it. And I like that the box matches the palette.
The mirror that you get with this palette is really good and I actually use it when I use the palette, which I don’t always do. And you get a double ended eye shadow brush. So with this you get 14 eye shadows, mattes and metallics, they’re really nicely pigmented and the color payoff is fantastic.
I swatched these on my arm, so the first one is Fresh, which is a really light matte pinky shade, then you have Pearl, which is a light pink metallic. Steampunk is a rich gold, Rose Quartz is a gorgeous rose gold. Then you have Ember, which is a dark grey/brown with a gold sparkle. Bloom is a matte coraly shade and Birch is a light matte brown.
On the bottom you have Cinder, a really pretty medium brown and Twig which is a light matte brown. Next is Teak, a goldy/brown, I’ve worn this one and it’s so nice on, and beside that is Dystopian, a dark matte brown. Then you have Cyborg, a very sparkly silver, Slate, a nice matte grey and finally Noir, which is a dark blue/black.
On New Years Eve I used a few of these shadows to create my look and I’m still really happy with the way it came out.
Last week I used Twig, Teak and Dystopian to create a look and the only picture I took was in black and white, otherwise I would include it.
That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys have this palette I’d love to know what your favorite shadows are and what your favorite look is that you’ve done using it.
Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eye shadow palettes :).
