Blogmas Day Ten: December Sephora Play Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Ten! Today I’m going to be talking about my December Play box from Sephora. I got this yesterday and thought that today would be a great day to go through it. The theme this month is Cheers to Beauty, which is a bunch of great products to help you celebrate this year and the years to come. The bag for this month is like the ones from the past couple of months in the fact that it’s red plastic with a snap lock. The design on the front is different, it’s like a Christmas sweater in the fact that the design is layered. The top is what looks to be a hair product and a brush, then is set of lashes and a mascara wand, the main bit in the middle is a row of Play Boxes and finally there’s two lip products and a set of lips. It’s adorable. The back is white and it red letters it says ‘Open here for warm fuzzy feels + a little something extra #SephoraPlay’ and it has a red arrow pointing at the top where you open it.

So, the first product we have is the Verb Ghost Oil. This is a hair oil that has a Moringa Oil blend that is supposed to help your hair stay frizz free, shiny and give it heat protection. I really like hair oils, they work well in my hair, so I’m excited to try this.

The second product we have is Lancôme Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover. This is a liquid eye makeup remover that has a gentle formula and it’s supposed to easily remove your eye makeup, including all the long lasting stuff, while refreshing your skin. I use, and love, the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover the one for Lids, Lips and Lashes. So I’m interested to see how this compares. I’ll let you guys know what I think.

Moving on we have the Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer- Peaches and Cream Collection. This primer brightens your skin and blurs the imperfections. I love Too Faced and I really like their other primers, so I’m excited to give this one a try. And it smells like peaches and cream, which is a major plus.

The next product we have is the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02 Nothin’ But Nude. I wore this yesterday and I really like it. It’s a really pretty nudey brown shade, it’s super soft on the lips, pretty much glides on and it has a matte finish. You can get this liner in something like 40 shades and I’ll definitely be checking out the others because there’s some pretty ones in there.

The second to last product we have is the Trestique Lip Glaze in the shade Paris Pink. This is like a mix between a lip balm and a lipstick. It’s very hydrating, long lasting and between the formulation and the color payoff, this is great product.

The last product we have, this month’s bonus, is a little bit different than the previous months. This month Sephora gave an extra trial size product, which I think is cool. And I got the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Cream. I’m intrigued by this because I’ve never used any Dr. Jart+ products but I’ve always heard great things. You use this after your serum and toner and it’s supposed to really moisturize your skin and take away any dryness you may have. Like I said, I’m intrigued and I’ll let you guys know what I think.

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your December Play Boxes let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).
