Yesterday I received my March Play Box from Sephora and thought that today would be the perfect day to unbox it and go over what I got. The theme for this month is Festival of Beauty. It’s full of products that are great for festival season and I think that it’s a great theme. It really comes through in the bag itself, which is blue tie dye with white lettering that says ‘Beauty Is My Spirit Animal’ and dark blue drawstrings. A great bag in my opinion.
The first product we have is the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm. This is a product you put on before you put your makeup on and it’s supposed to illuminate, brighten and energize your skin. I haven’t tried any of the products yet in this bag, but I’m excited to try this, bright and energized skin is always a plus.
Next up we have the Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser. I’ve never used any kind of Greek yogurt cleansers or products in general, but I’ve only heard good things about this one in particular and I’ll let you guys know what I think after I’ve used it.
The third product we have is the Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist with SPF 50. I was really excited when I saw this because I love a setting spray to start and the fact that this one is an SPF and a high SPF at that is great. During the spring and summer I spend a lot of time outside and I don’t always put sunscreen on my face, which is kinda bad of me, but with this I definitely will be.
Moving on we have the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner. If you’ve been following me and reading my posts for a while then you know that I love eye liner and I’m always down to try a new one. I know that this is a holy grail liner for a lot of people and I’m excited to try it out.
The second to last product is the IGK Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm. This is a leave-in conditioner that is supposed to keep your hair frizz free whilst smoothing, detangling and repairing. I’m pretty lucky when it comes to my hair, the only problem I have is occasional frizz, so anything that can keep that at bay is something I’m willing to try.
And the last product and the bonus product from this month is the Amika Nourishing Mask. This is a deep conditioning hair mask that you put in while you’re in the shower, leave for 5-7 minutes then wash out. I love a hair mask every now and again and I found one that I really like and I’m actually out of it so I’m interested to see how this one compares. Who knows, I might be alternating between two after using this.
That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your March Play Boxes let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.
Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).
