This weeks race took us to Pomona, California for the Auto Club NHRA Finals and champions were crowned. I’ll have my usual race recap up tomorrow, but today I wanted to focus on the champion in each category and talk a little bit about them and the season they had.

Top Fuel Champion: Antron Brown

Funny Car Champion: Ron Capps

Pro Stock Champion: Jason Line

Team and Sponsor: Ken Black Racing and Summit Racing Equipment

Wins this season: 8

Pro Stock Motorcycle Champion: Jerry Savoie

Team and Sponsor: White Alligator Racing

Wins this season: 2

Championship: 1; this is his first

Important Notes: this is the fourth time DSR has won both nitro championships
